Nicholas “Nick” David Worsham

Nicholas “Nick” David Worsham, 47, of San Diego, CA passed away on April 6, 2026 at home.

Nick loved good food and traveling. He looked for any reason to book a reservation. No occasion was too big or too small to not warrant a nice dinner or a weekend getaway.

Nick was also a servant. He spent most of his working career in healthcare. He became a Registered Nurse in 2011 and found his career home.

Nick’s greatest accomplishment and source of joy was the birth of his son, Barrett. Nick adored being a father, and he was well-suited for the role. He loved endlessly and easily.

Nick is survived by his husband Michael McIntosh and their son Barrett “Bear” Worsham, his parents David and Gwen Worsham of Carmel, Indiana, his sister Katie Brinkmeyer (David) and beloved nieces Claire and Mary of Carmel, Indiana, and his parents-in-law Ben and Mary McIntosh of Gays Creek, Kentucky, and brother-in-law Stephen “Andy” McIntosh and nephews Caleb and Colin of Chavies, Kentucky.

Nick’s family would like to thank all of the friends, colleagues, neighbors, and healthcare workers who offered their support, time, food, and love during his illness journey.

There will be a family viewing on Friday, April 10, 2026. Nick will be interred at Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California at a later date.
