Jason Anthony Moore

It is with great sorrow we announce the tragic loss of CW4 (Ret.) Jason Anthony Moore on September 19, 2025 at the age of 46, in Apple Valley, California. He is survived by his wife of nearly 26 years, Heather (Studer) and their two sons, Ian and Korbin Moore.

Jason was born in San Diego, California to: Mother, Gwyn (Jeffcoat) Reed and father Donald Moore. He joined the U.S. Army shortly after high school retiring with 23 years of service in 2021 as a Sr Maintenance Supervisor. Since then, he could be found tinkering with a slew of various hobbies including his favorites: Legos and Volkswagens. Often known for his quick wit and innate ability to fix anything, he always had something to offer while helping others with their own conundrums. His technical knowledge will continue to carry on through his boys, as he fostered in them a do-it-yourself mentality.

He leaves behind his mother Gwyn (Dee) Reed of El Cajon, CA; father Donald (Debra) Moore of Harker Heights, TX; sister Rachel; and extended family.

Services will be held at Bravo Family Mortuary, 4427 Rainier Ave, San Diego, CA 92120 on Thursday, October 16, 2025. The family will begin receiving guests at 10:00, with services starting at 11:00, with a light lunch provided afterward. A Full Military Honors Service will begin at 2:15 at Miramar National Cemetery.
