His legacy began on January 9, 1956, when he entered this world. Better known to most of us as “Cisco,” or “Boyet,” he was fondly known for his witty sense of humor, love for his family, sports and living life on his terms.
At the age of 17 he decided to serve his country by joining the United States Navy. This opportunity allowed him to travel all around the world with the military. Like most veterans, this also meant he was away from his family for certain assignments. He shared stories with his oldest son about what it was like working with explosives in the water. After retiring from the US Navy he explored his career options with Customs and Border Protection. His passion for working on cars helped him build life long relationships that felt like family. This also paved the way for his oldest son to become a Border Patrol Agent. Cisco was his son’s biggest supporter in so many ways. If you wanted to see where his heart was, all you had to do was ask him how his son was doing. He loved sharing updates about how his boy was growing up.

Cisco’s successful career path gave him 2 retirements creating stability for his new venture. He made his parents proud in many ways. Proceeded by his father, Elpidio Guerrero, the 2 are now joined together celebrating in heaven. A bittersweet milestone for his loved ones left behind, he is survived by his 2 sons, Jermaine Guerrero, Fredierick Cabrera, granddaughter Cassandra Guerrero, grandson Jayden Guerrero, mother, Adoracion Guerrero, his sisters Edwina Fisher, Arlene Guerrero- Dahlgren, and 2 other sisters who wish to remain private.
A man who loved his kids dearly cherished his grandkids just as much. We are thankful for the years we had with you, and we celebrate your life. We are grateful for the unique way you loved on us, allowed us to grow into who we were meant to be, and remained part of our life stories the whole time. Cassandra will forever miss being your princess. Jayden will never forget how you always answered his calls, especially for senseless laughs. We celebrate you and love you forever - JC, Rachel, Cassandra & Jayden
