Obituary of David Buel Wolfe

David Buel Wolfe of Jamul, California passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025

He was born on January 19, 1956 in Columbus, Ohio, son of David E and Evalee (Fry) Wolfe.

He graduated from Meigs County (Ohio) High School in 1974 and Marietta (Ohio) College in 1978.

His oil and gas career allowed him to see the world, with assignments in California, Scotland, Nigeria and Indonesia. Dave had a lifelong love of sports and adventure. He was most passionate about beach volleyball and enjoyed snorkeling and other outdoor pursuits.

Dave is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Oktaviani and daughter Kimberly, of Jamul California, his sister Connie and her husband Ed Fretschel, of Aiken, South Carolina, his brother Dennis Wolfe and his wife Pam, of Syracuse, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held from 11 AM to 3 PM on Sunday, November 2 at the Bravo Family Mortuary, 4427 Rainier Avenue, San Diego, California.
