Alvin Eric Ludwig, born on February 28, 1941, and retired Senior Chief from the US Navy, passed away on April 8, 2024. He was a devoted husband to Rhodna Ann Ludwig and a loving father to Tammy Cox and Dean Ludwig. Alvin was known not only for his leadership as a Senior Chief but also for his deep love for German Shepherds. He dedicated his life to serving his country in the Navy and brought joy to many through his commitment and passion.
In addition to his military service, Alvin had a passion for computer games, spending countless hours immersed in virtual worlds. He cherished time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, creating lasting memories and imparting wisdom.
Alvin also had a love for cooking shows, drawing inspiration from chefs around the world to create culinary delights for his family and friends. A dedicated sports fan, he cheered fervently for his beloved San Diego Padres and Chargers, finding joy in every victory and camaraderie in every game.
Alvin leaves behind a legacy of dedication, love, and leadership. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
