In Loving Memory
Abdul Hasan
March 13, 1967 — January 29, 2025
Flowers are fulfilled by Forever Blooms in Lemon Grove.
Abdul Jameel Hasan, lovingly known as “ED,” was born on March 13, 1967, in Benton Harbor,
Michigan, to Daaimah and Mustafa Hasan. He was a beloved brother to Lateefah, Yusuf, Maryann,
and Yasmine Hasan.
Abdul spent his early years in South Bend, Indiana, where he welcomed his first children:
Edward (Manny) Hasan, Terrence Jefferson (TJ), and Lakia Jefferson. In search of greater opportunity,
Abdul moved to California with his mother and siblings. There, he expanded his family and became
the proud father of: Lakeisha Williams, Shaneka Hasan, Justice Williams, Imani Hasan, and Dominick
Hasan.
A man of drive and vision, Abdul built a meaningful life through his business, Auto Brite Mobile
Detailing, and his entrepreneurial agency. His work ethic, pride, and resilience set a powerful example
for his children and everyone who knew him.
He believed in doing things the right way and lived that lesson daily—pushing those around him to
stay determined, grounded, and focused. Family was central to Abdul’s life, and he took deep pride
in raising and guiding his children with strength and love.
Abdul enjoyed the simple things: fishing, grilling, watching movies, listening to music, and taking trips
to the casino. One of his favorite shows was Sanford & Son, and he was known for his quick wit,
booming laugh, and unmatched ability to bring humor into any moment.
He was also a proud grandfather to: Edward IV, Aynia, Jordynn, Ean, Kesiah, Kennedy, Khalil, Sanai,
Kyeli, Kaydin, Ahneya, Emanuel, Xyla, Asante, Azariah, and Aveyah.
Abdul’s presence was magnetic. He was a strong, loyal, protective father and friend—a man who
always found a way. His legacy will live on through the lessons he taught, the love he gave, and the
memories he created with everyone who crossed his path.
Forever in our hearts.
